Out of My Head and Back in My Bed was Loretta's 30th solo studio album to be released when it came out in February 1978. As well as peaking at No. 16 on the Country charts, it also spawned two singles, with the title track being her final No. 1 single. "Spring Fever" also reached No. 12 when it was released.
