The third and final collaboration with Ernest Tubb, If We Put Our Heads Together reached number 19 on the charts, the lowest rating of the duet's albums. It was still a great album from a now near-legendary country partnership, and a fitting sign-off from Ernest Tubb and Loretta Lynn.
